Ace SAT Math ("we", "our", or "us") provides adaptive SAT Math practice books, video walkthroughs, and analytics tools to help students prepare for their SAT exams. This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile applications available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as our website at acesatmath.com.
By accessing or using Ace SAT Math, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account Information (Authentication)
We support two primary methods for account creation and sign-in:
- Google Sign-In: If you sign in via Google, we collect your name, email address, profile picture URL, and a unique authentication token provided by Google.
- Email & Password Sign-In: If you register via email, we collect your email address and an encrypted hash of your password. We never store plain-text passwords.
B. Practice & Analytics Data
To deliver personalized learning and track your score improvement, we collect performance metrics including quiz results, completed practice sets, response times, flagged questions, and daily practice streaks.
C. In-App Purchases & Subscription Data
Ace SAT Math offers monthly and yearly premium subscriptions (such as Ace Plus).
- All payment transactions are securely processed directly by the Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) or Google Play Billing.
- We do not receive or store your credit card details, bank account numbers, or billing addresses on our servers.
- We only receive cryptographic transaction receipts and subscription status tokens from Apple/Google to activate and verify your subscription level.
D. Technical & Device Information
We automatically collect basic technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app version, language preference, and anonymous crash logs to ensure app stability and performance.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To create and manage your Ace SAT Math account.
- To synchronize your practice history and diagnostic analytics across devices.
- To verify active monthly or yearly in-app subscriptions and unlock premium content.
- To send essential transactional notifications (e.g., password resets, subscription receipts).
- To diagnose technical bugs, optimize user experience, and improve our question bank.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate trusted third-party service providers to handle specialized functions. These third parties have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose:
- Google Firebase Authentication & Hosting: Used for secure user login, database storage, and hosting services. Read Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
- Apple App Store & Google Play Store: Handle in-app purchase validation, billing, and subscription renewals.
5. Data Retention & Account Deletion
In accordance with Google Play Store and Apple App Store policies, you have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion:
- In-App Deletion: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account inside the Ace SAT Math app.
- Email Request: Send an email from your registered address to support@acesatmath.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently purge your user profile, practice test records, analytics history, and authentication tokens within 30 days. Active subscriptions should be canceled separately through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA / GDPR)
Ace SAT Math is designed for high school students preparing for college entrance exams. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and discover that your child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately so we can remove such data.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all network transmissions, tokenized authentication, and access-restricted servers to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.
